Brand-relative momentum (0-100). Measures growth vs. its own history, not vs. peers.
High desirability, high momentum. The brand leads the category and is still accelerating.
Low desirability, high momentum. The brand is rising fast but has not yet consolidated its position.
High desirability, low momentum. The brand is respected but coasting. Growth requires reactivation without diluting equity.
Low desirability, low momentum. Neither desired nor growing. Requires a fundamental narrative reset or portfolio decision.
Distance from center matters. A brand pushed to the far top-right is dominant and still accelerating — rare and defensible. Far bottom-left signals structural decline, not a bad quarter. Brands clustered near the median lines are in transition — the next data point will reveal direction. Watch for diagonal movement: top-left to top-right is a challenger earning its rank; top-right to bottom-right is a leader losing steam.
Volume (default) benchmarks brands against an anchor for cross-brand comparison. Desirability shows the deseasonalized signal per brand. Raw shows Google Trends as-is. Start with the top two and expand for a deeper intelligence read.
Per-brand scale — seasonal noise removed, residual shocks preserved. Not comparable across brands.
